What activities should I avoid after treatments?

Are there any side effects?

Do I need to prepare the selected area first?

BNB Laser works best on shorter hairs. It may be necessary to trim certain areas before beginning treatment. Always clean and dry skin before beginning any treatment. Remove jewellery and any reflective items before operating the laser.

After I finish my treatment, how do I care for the skin?

You may apply an unscented non-comedogenic soothing lotion (does not clog pores), or place an ice pack or cool damp towel to sooth area. Do not use anti-persperant or deodorant for 2 – 3 days when treating arm pits. Keep the treated section of skin clean, use an anti-bacterial unscented soap 2 times a day.

What areas should I use the Treatments on?

Common areas for hair removal treatments are: legs, back, arms, underarms, chest and bikini line.

Do not use on face, upper lip, eyebrows or around eyes or on genital areas.

Will I feel any pain?

No, a slight pinch may be felt for less than a second.

How many treatments will it take?

After about 6 – 8 treatments, depending on skin and hair type of the individual, hair removal should be permanent.

Is it ok to use on sensitive skin?

Yes, the laser will have minimal contact with the skin. Use on low and medium settings.

Should I use other hair removal methods also?

No, the BNB Laser process requires that the hair be active in the follicle. If the hair is removed prior to treatments, the laser will not be effective.

Where do I aim the laser?

It is important to aim the laser at the root of the hair. This is where the base of the hair meets the skin. Shorter hairs will make aiming easier as it is easier to see the root. It may be necessary to trim certain areas before beginning treatments.
